Who We Are In 2008 War Horse Brewing Co. (then called Barley Yards) poured its first pint. The beer was contract brewed in Rochester with a dream to open an on-site brewing facility in the future. In June of 2016, the dream was realized and our state of the art brewing facility was complete. We have grown and changed a great deal throughout the years. What hasn't changed is our love of great people, great beer, and great stories.
Something's always brewing at War Horse! From Custom Ales, Lagers and Seasonal Beers to our house-made Bombshell Hard Ciders & Iron Heart Craft Sodas you're bound to find something that you like. At War Horse, we honor the warriors who fight for our freedom. Walls are adorned with photos and memorabilia of friends and families who serve.

Pint it Forward
Our "Pay It Forward" inspired program for visiting military. Anyone who visits can pre-purchase a pint for a veteran/active military member. If pints are available, military members can redeem by showing their ID. This is one small way of saying thank you to those who have served. Each year, for Veterans Day, we donate money from unredeemed pints to our local Veterans Association. In 2022 we are donating $3,500.
Here Are The Cold Hard Stainless Steel Facts On Our Facility
